Children's jewellery workshop
Today Alice, Leah, Ellen, Sophie and Amy joined Ruth in a jewellery workshop. Don't you think each of them made a beautiful necklace and matching bracelet? They worked so hard and quickly that some of the girls managed to also make a dangly accessory that could be attached to a mobile phone, handbag or game console!!
Here is a close up of the necklace and bracelet that Alice made,
and here is the dangly accessory attached to her mobile phone and Nintendo DS.
Well done girls, I think some of your mums may be booking into some jewellery workshops so that they can keep up with you!
Just a thought, these would be perfect items to make at a children's birthday party to be held in our workshop at Flutterby Crafts. For further information on children's craft parties click here, or to arrange a booking, contact us on 01635 860900 or call into the shop.

Stunning girls!
Look at what they made, they are really stunning bracelets. Ruth designed the bracelets and the girls followed her instructions very quickly. In fact Leah (the expert of the group) made this lovely necklace.
So girls (you know who you are), would you please leave a little comment below so Lynn and Ruth really know what you liked about the jewellery workshop.

Children's Workshop
Look at this stunning bracelet that Ruth has designed for the Children's Workshop tomorrow. I brought the bracelet home to photograph and my 9 year old daughter wanted me to take a photograph of her wearing it. She loves it and who wouldn't!

All the items have been made using Jo Sonja paints and mediums with Napkin Art.

For those of you not in the know, the weekend was to decorate a mirror (or box), a bag and anything else that stood still while we were waiting out the drying time. Everybody managed their mirror/box and bag (so far, so good), then they all decorated a pair of shoes, a candle and a glass bowl (except Kirsty, who decorated a wooden bag using shaving foam !?!?!). It was all done using the Jo Sonja paints, Jo Sonja mediums and a few serviettes. Not bad for a weekends work.
So, here goes with the photos:
Betty did not tackle the mirrory, she went for a box with roses tumbling over the side. Her bag was a gorgeous mixture of flowers.
Lisa was into the sunflowers on her bag and she also did a box. They were simply gogeous. The shoe were using the daisy serviette.
Ali, on the other had, went for birds and butterflies on her mirror and christmassy on her candle and bowl.
Whilst Vanessa opted for pretty in pink as her theme.
Well, I may have got lost for words, but I think each photo tells its own story. So much fun was had and so many wonderful pieces decorated. For those of you there, thank you for making it such a great weekend. For the rest of you, where were you, you missed so much fun!!
See you all soon.
