Introducing Lee

Lynn mentioned recently that she was going to take on an extra member of staff to work on Saturdays and possible extra help during the week. So if you haven't been into the shop recently here is a photo of Lee who has already started at Flutterby Crafts. Don't be shy, please introduce yourselves and tell her what sort of crafting or jewllery making floats your boat.....she would love to get to know you all.

While Lee is working in the shop on Saturday it will give Lynn and the girls time to run the new Saturday workshops. If you don't know what I am talking about why not take a look at the new Summer Workshop Brochure or for more details click here and work your way through the workshops.

There might be something new to try out!

I have also put a new survey at the bottom left handside of the website and your response would be much appreciated.

Crafter's Car Boot Sale

I don't know about you, but today I have had the urge to start spring cleaning! I have started on the garage this morning and it's a mammoth task. My point being, that if you fancy clearing out your surplus crafting stash and make some money at the same time, why not book a place at our Crafter's Car Boot Sale.

It sounds like it will be a fabulous event with lots of table tops full of crafting goodies, teas and cakes for sale, and a great crafting atmosphere all for a good cause.

ProMarker Challenge Club

Wow, now we all know what a brilliant crafting demonstrator Nicky is but did you know how good her baking was. Look at these Easter treats she made for the ProMarker Challenge Club. We had a big decision on our hands, whether to dive straight in and eat a momentously sticky chocolate muffin and risk all our stamped images ending up all chocolaty or drool over them till the end of the session!!!!

Here is Kirsty who was the winner of the recent ProMarker Challenge "something for mum". To see her card #2 click here. She won some more ProMarker pens to add to her ever growing collection.

Here everyone is studiously colouring in their stamped Milton and Wild Rose images.

The challenge this month is "Monochrome". Nicky stretched out colouring abilities so that we would practise our blending techniques.

Great fun was had by all and can't wait to see their entries.

Scrapbook albums

Click on photos for larger image

Lynn mentioned last week of the arrival of some albums. Above are three of the mini albums that have just arrived at Flutterby Crafts. They make scrapbooking so easy as you can just pop your photos inside the pockets or make your own scrapbook pages. They would also make a perfect gift for someone interested in scrapbooking.

These 12 x 12 albums are also ideal as a present such as a wedding gift or a teenager returning from their gap year etc.... . Why not pop into the shop to see the full collection we have in stock. We have loads of new stamps and embellishments which you could add to these scrapbook pages.
