Eureka Craft Designs visiting

Guess who is coming to visit? This Saturday 21st April
10 'til 4pm

Hi Everybody

So the ancient Gods of the Rainclouds decided to try and break the drought. Fantastic for the water level, wonderful for the garden - shame that the dogs also considered it good for them going out for a walk. They refused to understand 'sorry, Lads, not today!'. Ho hum, four wet dogs and two wet dog walkers!!

What it does also mean is that the boys get worn out and I have been managing to do a bit of crafting!  And here are the pictures to prove it...

...as you can see Buzz is resting well having run around in the rain

.......and this box has been painted and crackled then finished with one of our new giant roses, a bit of opal dust and a piece of beautiful lace.

Anyway, rumour has it that this rain is due to carry on over the weekend, so it would be perfect for you all to come and watch a great demonstration by Alex and Jeanette from Eureka Craft Designs.  Come share a cuppa and see what they have to offer:

21st April  10 - 4pm
Demonstation with Alex

Those of you that know the Creative Craft Cabin of Twyford, or have met Alex and Jeanette at the Art Stamp Show, will know about the wonderful template cards that they make.  We are lucky enough to have them with us this Saturday.

This is a free event, but the urn will be out to raise funds for our favourite charity.

Also, bring your scissors and punches (punching is back in fashion, so dig them out!) and we will clean and recondition them while you are busy watching Alex and enjoying a cuppa.
We will charge 20p per pair of scissors or punch, which will go into our charity box.

The new workshop list is available in the shop now.  Remember that Nicky is going to be having fun with the colouring on a Thursday and that we now have a Thursday Knit'n'Natter, where Ruth will be happy to lead you on the correct path for knitting up a lovely cardi or crocheting a pretty blanket.

So make the most of the rainy weather to come and be inspired.

with best wishes from

Lynn and the Girls.

I know this is the third newsletter with this picture, but I just love it!!
