Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess

Well, what a wonderful day it was yesterday.

Catherine looked stunning, elegant and beautiful.

What a good looking Prince, splendid in his uniform.

The whole event was spectacular.

It was simple but with enough pageantry to please everybody.

And what a wonderful couple they make. May they live a long and happy life together.

God Bless them!

KaiserCraft rub-on transfers

Lynn has decorated this lovely wooden shaped heart to make a special gift. We have lots and lots of wooden shapes small and large in the shop which can be decorated using Jo Sonja's paints.

Using the Jo Sonja's paints and mediums she has painted the heart and added crackle.

Lynn has layered a piece of vellum over the heart and applied one of the NEW KaiserCraft rub-on transfers.

There is a new collection of black rub-on trasfers here on-line under these categories; Girls, Boys, Father, Mother, Newborn, Family and Laugh.

Finally, she added an aubergine Paper Bloom, some pearls and ribbon to bring the project together.

Kraft Card and Kraft envelopes

As mentioned in last week's blog posts, everyone in the shop seems to love these NEW pre-scored C6 Kraft Cards and envelopes. They are top quality and have a good weight to them but even better they come with matching envelopes.

Happy Easter Card

This adorable card has been made using the new Kraft Card which comes with envelopes in C6 sizes only.

Nicky has coloured in this image using watercolour pencils layered on a circle and scallop die cut using her Sizzix machine. I noticed the other day that there was a Sizzix Big Shot in the shop, whilst stocks last!

Again the papers for the foreground and background to this photo are from the English Rose collection by KaiserCraft.

Easter Closing - take a break

Hi Everybody

I was hoping to get a newsletter out today with a Happy Easter message and details of our closing times over the next week or so, also I wanted to get out the new workshop brochure. But like all good plans, things went wrong!!

So, here is my message - much shortened - we will not be open on Good Friday (and Sunday/Monday), we will be open on Easter SATURDAY - normal Saturday opening times.

Also, because I want to watch Prince William and Kate get married, we will not be open on the 29th May (selfish, I know!).

I wish you all a very Happy Easter. Don't over indulge in the Easter delights - if you get too many eggs, you can send them to us at the shop and we will help you out!!

I will get the workshop brochure posted on the website over the weekend and send out the details asap.

Easter Basket - KaiserCraft papers

Nicky has made this yummy Easter Basket using the new double sided papers from KaiserCraft.

The papers she has used to make the box, including the photo foreground and background papers are from the English Rose Collection by KaiserCraft which can be seen at our online shop themulberry-bush.com.

So come on, there is no excuse, you have a few more days left to make some last minute Easter Baskets for the kids!

KaiserCraft are back!

Lynn was not kidding it's so exciting at Flutterby Crafts with lots and lots of KaiserCraft goodies now on the shelves! Catherine has made this lovely card with some of the new products.

Now, where do I start.......

There are some gorgeous 12 x 12 KaiserCraft double sided papers that I shall be showcasing in the next few blog posts.

On this card Catherine has used 'Estelle' from the English Rose Collection, layered onto some NEW C6 Kraft Cards and envelopes that are selling fast! The background papers to the main photograph show 2 other papers in the English Rose Collection.

There is a new collection of KaiserCraft rub-on transfers under the title of Girls, Boys, Father, Mother, Newborn, Family and Laugh. These are top quality rub-on transfers and are so easy to use.

Also, KaiserCraft have these new Paper Blooms in the most delicious colours which you can check out here. On this card Catherine has used the Aubergine Paper Bloom.

ProMarker Challenge Club

This is the latest card that Nicky showed the ladies at the ProMarker Challenge Club last Saturday.

All papers, ribbon and a huge selection of ProMarkers are available in the shop or on-line at www.themulberry-bush.com.

Some of the ladies told me that this was quite a challenging class. They were shown by our ProMarker Colouring 'QUEEN' (my new title for Nicky), how to colour with ProMarkers using ICE GREY numbers 1-15.

Nicky's in a Spin!

You really need to come and see this card in the shop to appreciate it's mechanism. When you twirl the rabbits with your finger they spin around the egg in the middle.

That's not all....the rabbits have been layered with napkins, adhered to cardstock and then cut out!

When I popped into the shop on Saturday this card was receiving many compliments. The cry from the ladies was ......."when can we make this card?"

Nicky is now IN A SPIN as to which class she will demonstrate a similar card! For workshop details on this card please check with Nicky in the shop.
