Beaded Bell


This Christmas Bell was one of the beading items that was demonstrated by Ruth at the recent 
Christmas Beading workshop.


If you pop back in a few days here on the blog, there will be more photos of beaded items.

NEW Wooden Embellishments

We have in stock some delightful sets of mini wooden embellishments which contain 5 each of 9 designs.  Each embellishment measures approximately 1 inch.

These wooden embellishments can be use with Jo Sonja's paints and mediums, sparkled, covered with fabric, napkins or your favourite papers.


This card has been made with the addition of Jo Sonja's Opal Dust on the snowflake.

Make your own backing paper with napkins!

Take some of your favourite napkins, some Jo Sonja's All Purpose Sealer and a card base........
and what do you get?


Did you guess?  Yes, Lynn the owner of Flutterby Crafts 
demonstrated how to make your own backing paper using napkins.


The photo does not do this technique justice as it is one of those cards
that you need to stroke to believe it!

Festive Wishes with Mia

So here, as promised, are some more photos from one of the cards made at the 
Christmas Card Fun workshop.


Nicky has made this acetate card using the new Mia with Candy and the 
Christmas Circle stamps from Wild Rose Studio.

She has coloured the lovely Mia with Candy image using ProMarkers.


Nicky has used a selection of Christmas papers which can be found in our 
Christmas paper pad section here.


As always, Nicky pays attention detail to the back of the image and 
acetate by layering more Christmas papers which neatly finishes off the inside of the card!

Christmas Card Fun weekend workshops


Nicky and Lynn ran the recent Christmas Card Fun weekend and helped the ladies make a selection of alternative Christmas cards using various card making techniques.


A pop up card with the NEW Wild Rose Studio stamps and sentiments.


 Chalking around the 'Robin' card to give dimension to the card edges.


Backing paper for a card was made using this delightful robin napkin!


An acetate card was made using the latest Mia with Candy Cane stamp and ProMarkers.


A money wallet was made using some new Christmas papers from the shop.


A gift card wallet was made using a selection of papers from the shop.


Over the next week or so I shall be showing in more detail the projects that were
made is you were unable to join in the workshops!

Liz Black and Jo Sonja's workshop

Last Saturday we had a great turn out when Liz Black came along to Flutterby Crafts and demonstrated how to decorate acrylic baubles, glass trays and acrylic hearts.
