On 4th September we were very honoured to have a visit from Dulcie Jackson from Wild Rose Studio. She held a drop in session in the morning and joined us at the ProMarker Challenge club in the afternoon showing us blending techniques with our ProMarkers.

You may remember this sketch that she set for this month's ProMarker challenge using the Milton Christmas stamps that she has designed herself......clever girl!

ProMarker pens

For those of you who are interested in colouring or would like to know more about ProMarker pens, why not come along to the next ProMarker Challenge Club held on Saturday, 2nd October.

If you are unable to attend the ProMarker Challenge Club (which is normally held on the 1st Saturday of each month) there is a NEW Friday ProMarker Club held once a month with Nicky, 10.30 'til 12.30. Please check the workshop calendar for dates.

Last Saturday, when Dulcie Jackson visited us at the Flutterby Crafts ProMarker Challenge Club, she demonstrated blending techniques and kindly gave us a sketch for the next challenge.

Here above is the sketch for the next ProMarker Challenge Club along with the stamped images of the adorable Milton Christmas stamps that we can choose to use.

The prize is 2 ProMarker pens to add to your collection but you do need to attend the monthly challenge club to be eligible. So come along it is such fun!

I can't wait to see the entries which I will put on the blog next week.

Monochromatic ProMarker challenge

At the last ProMarker Challenge Club held at Flutterby Crafts, Nicky set the challenge for us to make a Monochromatic card. She showed everyone how to colour in and blend using shades of just one colour ........ quite tricky to get the desired effect!

ProMarker Challenge Club

Wow, now we all know what a brilliant crafting demonstrator Nicky is but did you know how good her baking was. Look at these Easter treats she made for the ProMarker Challenge Club. We had a big decision on our hands, whether to dive straight in and eat a momentously sticky chocolate muffin and risk all our stamped images ending up all chocolaty or drool over them till the end of the session!!!!

Here is Kirsty who was the winner of the recent ProMarker Challenge "something for mum". To see her card #2 click here. She won some more ProMarker pens to add to her ever growing collection.

Here everyone is studiously colouring in their stamped Milton and Wild Rose images.

The challenge this month is "Monochrome". Nicky stretched out colouring abilities so that we would practise our blending techniques.

Great fun was had by all and can't wait to see their entries.

Winner of the "Thank you" ProMarker Challenge

We had a record turn out at Flutterby Crafts for the ProMarker Challenge Club last Saturday. The word is spreading that it's such a FAB Club not to be missed with Nicky giving tips and tricks on how to colour in with your ProMarkers.

Well the winner of the last ProMarker Challenge "Thank you" was Kirsty Cook and she received a lovely Crafters Companion bag (plenty of room for her growing supply of ProMarkers!). Well done for a delightful card and thank you to all the other entries which makes it a FUN challenge to take part in.

REMINDER for those of you who want to enter into this months challenge "Too cute for words" your entries need to be in by Saturday, 20th February which is the closing date, so get colouring!! The challenge set by Nicky was:-

1. to use no words or greeting
2. use a cute image to be coloured with any of your ProMarkers
3. you need to use at least one other product from Flutterby Crafts, which does not include your ProMarkers!

ProMarker Challenge Winner!

These are the entries from the November ProMarker Challenge Club. We apologise for the delay in getting the entries photographed for the blog, but voting will be open until Christmas week. If you attend the ProMarker Challenge Club today the next challenge entries will be open for voting from the first week of the New Year until late January.

The November ProMarker Club challenge was set by Nicky on 7th November.

Nicky gave the members of the ProMarker Challenge Club some stamped images which they coloured in using the colours BLUE and BROWN with their ProMarkers.

Card entry#1 has used the Ollyfant stamps of Indian Girl and card entry #2 has used the Whiff of Joy stamp called Henry Mouse with large tea cup. A large selection of Whiff of Joy stamps are now in stock at Flutterby Crafts and they are gorgeous to use with your ProMarkers.

ProMarker Challenge samples

Here are a couple of samples Nicky has designed using the stamped images at the last ProMarker Challenge Club. Just to remind you that this months ProMarker challenge set by Nicky is to use the colours blue and brown with either of the stamped images.

The stamped images are, Cowboy and Indians from the Ollyfant range of clear stamps and, Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble from Whiff of Joy stamps. Both designs by Nicky are stunning especially when coloured in with ProMarkers, don't you agree?

All entries to be in by Wednesday, 18 November, 5.00pm.
