Chronology Card with Gold Leaf

Nicky is loving the Chronology collection of papers and stamps.

For this masculine card she has used one of the sheets from the Chronology paper pad for the card background.

She has taken a piece of acetate, stamped and embossed the image below from the FREE stamps included in the Docrafts magazine. 

Then, Nicky added gold leaf to one side of the Stix2 double sided sticky sheet and adhered the acetate (with the stamped image) to the other side......so clever!

What a wonderful effect with the gold leaf shimmering through.

Finally, a bit of matt and layering with black cardstock, some black ribbon and antique brads just finish the card off beautifully.

Country Companions - Sunshine Meadows

Nicky Hayden has created this adorable card using the Country Companions - Sunshine Meadows Mini Clear Stamp - Mouse which is a clear rubber stamp for use with an acrylic block.

She has used papers from the new range of  Country Companions Sunshine Meadows, double sided A4 Paper Pad.  

The Paper Pad comes in x6 double sided designs and are acid and lignin free, which includes 30 sheets in total.

Nicky has used one of the cute die cut sentiments and bow from the collection.

Nicky is our colouring expert at Flutterby Crafts, and on this occasion, she has coloured the stamped image using Koh-i-noor watercolours which give a brilliant, vibrant colour and are available to purchase in the shop.

Here, you can see how Nicky has used the water colours and added a paper flower to give added dimension to the card.

Having a Great Time - Kaisercraft Papers

Catherine has used gorgeous Scrapbook papers from our new range of Kaisercraft papers for this delightful page of  Freyja (her daughter) at the beach last year.

Stunning papers from the Kaisercraft Tropicana Collection - Horizon.

The butterflies have been punched out of one of the papers from the collection using a punch available in the shop.

She has used the Vintage Cherish - Kaisercraft Clear Stamp on coordinating scrapbook papers for sentiment and detail.

Catherine has also stamped the sentiment 'HAPPINESS' using one of the stamps from the

Definitions acrylic stamp set by Kaisercraft.  It is a beautiful set of individual words and their meanings...a wonderfully versatile set which is perfect for any project!

I love the way Catherine has hand written some journalling around the photo.

For this lovely sentiment, Catherine has selected a sentiment on one of the papers as seen below (top right) "Having a GREAT time!" from the Kaisercraft Tropicana Collection - Summery.

Wedding Invitation using Kraft Card

Just thought I would share with you this gorgeous Wedding Invitation designed by Catherine Inglis.

Catherine has used Kraft card for the base and adhered some delicate lace rim across the centre of the card.

She has used come satin and organza ribbon tied through a Kraft card shaped heart, which has been printed using a pretty font from her computer.  You could so easily personalise the tag with the Bride and Grooms name, initials or the date of the wedding,

Decorated Wooden Tea Light Holders

I love these cuboid Wooden Tea Light Holders which have been decorated by Lynn recently.

Although the set of four includes the wooden  letters, Lynn decided to use them on another project!

 

She has painted the base using Jo Sonja's paints and applied the napkin design around the box.

How lovely these would be as a simple Home Décor Item in your home or as a gift.

Chronology stamped images

Nicky has used a couple of the stamps from the recent edition of the Docrafts magazine which is selling fast! 

She has used these gorgeous foiled Kanban Die Cut Topper butterflies on the card, but you could use any others available from the shop.

We have a large supply of Kanban Die Cut Toppers at Flutterby Crafts or on-line at The Mulberry Bush for your crafting projects.

Here Nicky has used some Tim Holtz distress inks for the gorgeous coloured background which compliment the stamped images of the clock and cogs which are included FREE in the Docrafts magazine.

White Pearlescent Pocket Wedding Invitations

Here is another NEW Pocket Wedding Invitation in white pearlescent cardstock designed by Catherine Inglis.  We have a large selection of Pocket Invitations in a variety of colours with coordinating  120gsm envelopes and inserts.  They are supplied flat for you to decorate.

Catherine has simply embellished the invitation with a satin ribbon, mini pearl heart and decorative lace trim.

Wild Rose Studio - Bella With Mum

You know we all love Wild Rose Studio stamps here at Flutterby Crafts.  Nicky Hayden has made this adorable pink and girlie card using Bella With Mum from our large range of Wild Rose Studio acrylic stamps available in the shop or on-line at The Mulberry Bush.

Bella With Mum - A7 stamp set

The adorable Bella range covers all sorts of themes from birthdays to babies.

This stamp features Bella coming to greet her mum, holding a little flower with balloons in the background. It's a cute image to use for birthday cards, party invites, new baby cards or just 'thinking of you'.

Nick has stamped around the base card using the balloons in the stamp set and coloured them beautifully using her Promarker Pens.  

I love these rolled flowers with the addition of the pearls for the centre.  The tied satin ribbon coordinates with the whole colour scheme of the card.

She has also stamped her sentiment on a little tag and added some dimension using self adhesive pearls in the corner.
