Party Time Cling Stamps

Flutterby Crafts have a range of Cling Stamps by Trimcraft in the shop or online HERE. They are a range of brand new cling stamps from Helz Cuppleditch, the artist who brought us Pepper & Friends.

There are twelve new characters in the cling collection including pandas, puppies, kittens, fairies, rabbits and a family of bears. Every image has been hand drawn by Helz and she’s added little extras in every pack.

When I first looked at this card I thought the banners for the background were papers but NO, they have been stamped and beautifully coloured using ProMarkers by Nicky....she is amazing, don't you think?

What I like about this stamp set is that the packaging gives you a coloured impression as a colouring guide!

Saturday Crop

Just a reminder that on Saturday, 26th March, it's time to sort out your photo's and join Catherine in the Playroom for another session of SATURDAY CROP.

Catherine, is building up her Scrapbook album which includes her daughter, who is the youngest member of family, but is growing up so fast. Here, is a peep at her latest Scrapbook page 'YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE'. Apart from the adorable photo, Catherine has added lots of dimension and texture to the page by using chipboard letters, ribbon , flowers, flat backed pears and doodling.

If you are new to scrapbooking and would like to learn techniques on how to create a Scrapbook page, we would love to see you. However, if you are already a Scrapbooker, and would like to set a few crafting hours aside for yourself, the SATURDAY CROP is the perfect opportunity to join other crafters and exchange ideas.

Also, on 26 March in the Bead Shop, Ruth will be available for those of you who want help with your jewellery projects at the JEWELLERY DROP-IN.

....and more Roses

I love these roses they just make such an adorable embellishment. They are so easy to make, just by using the right type of flower punch, some double sided paper and then curled to give this lovely effect.

The roses have been adhered onto some smooth embossed cardstock which has been placed in a heart embossing folder to give this lovely delicate background.

In this project the embossing folder is by Crafts-Too and is available in the shop.

Fizzy Moon clear stamps by Trimcraft are adorable and they are available in the shop or online here.

Nicky has stamped this cute 'Wish Upon A Star' stamp onto a die cut circle and inked up the embossed edges.

On this occasion, Nicky has coloured the image using her watercolour pencils on some watercolour card instead of her ProMarkers.

The sentiment 'It's A Boy' has been cut using the Cricut machine which is available for use in 'The Playroom' and then layered with Fizzy Moon papers from the Paper Pads found here.

What a busy time!

Well, it has been a manic few weeks (for a change!!).

Last week we were at the trade show picking new goodies to keep you ladies (and gents) crafting. Seen some good stuff and it will be filtering through over the coming weeks.

Had a HUGE delivery of glass and wood today, together with some devine piggy banks, teddy bear banks and wellies. Can not wait to have a decorate of those!!

Tomorrow we are due to get a delivery of stickers from a new company. We choose some lovely ones for the boys. No excuse now, they are going to get some good cards.

Because of all the new bits and pieces, we are having a shuffle around - if you came in today, I do apologise for the chaos. Will all be sorted tomorrow and we can unveil our new wedding corner - so if you know someone who is getting married.........

Anyway, come and see what we have got!!

Lynn xx

Beaded Flower Broach

This beautiful broach has been made by Ruth in the beading shop. Here below, are the bits and pieces that were used. The items cost pennies and lots of beading bits left over to make another one!

If you would like to make this broach, why don't you book yourself onto one of the Jewellery workshops, when Ruth and Lynn will be showing you in the next few weeks, how to make this adorable broach. Of course, you may want to choose your own colours for a different look!

Paper Roses

Nicky is on a creative roll and there is no stopping her at the moment. But, who can blame her with the heaps of new papers, stamps, punches and embellishments arriving in the shop daily.

Firstly, there are FIVE lovely 6 x 6 Paper Stacks by K & Co that have arrived and can be purchased here at Flutterby Crafts or at our on-line shop here.

Secondly, there is the arrival of Fizzy Moon Clear Stamps which are so, so cute. Nicky has used the 'Let's Celebrate' clear stamp on this card, which she has coloured beautifully with ProMarkers.

This week Nicky and Lynn have been running workshops on how to make these stunning paper roses.

This rose was created using the K & Co. paper, a flower punch and the Melt Art Melting Pot with Ultra Thick Embossing powder to give an amazing shine to the rose.

The card has been edged with a small heart punch from Tonic Studios Paper Punches.

I am sure you will agree with me, that this beautiful card designed by Nicky has so many inspirational ideas, that you could incorporate into your own projects.

Special thanks to Nicky, for her fantastic workshop on paper roses which I attended last Tuesday evening.
